I just love the feeling of a webcomic not updating for over a year, then me looking back to see that they're finally doing something with it again! This has happened to two comics so far. I'm estatic.

Wow. It took me forever to remember my password to log into this.
I'm in Tenessee right now with my Aunt Angie, Uncle Kevin, and my cousin, Gage. For only being here four days, I've done quite a bit. I'm pretty much being forced to be more active here than I was back at home. XD
When we got back from the little road-trip, I called my dad, then we ate dinner and watched Four Brothers. That movie was a lot better than I expected it to be. The next day, we went grocery shopping, then Aunt Angie dropped me and Gage off at the movie theater to see Click.
Click... was just amazing. It's a lot better than the commercials protrayed it. Of course it is, it's Adam Sandler. But when I went into the theaters, I didn't expect to cry. Well, I did. It was hilarious, and it was really depressing, especially towards the ending when Adam Sandler's character finds out about what happened to his father, and how he acted he last time he saw him. When I got out of the movie theater, I wanted to just hug my dad and tell him how much I love him and appreciate him, but of course I couldn't since I was quite a few miles away from him.
The next day, we went out shopping. We went to Barnes and Nobles, where I bought 2001: A Space Odyssey and King Leopold's Ghost. I've read most of King Leopold's Ghost for an essay in World History two years ago, and for it being nonfiction, it was just an amazing read. Partly because I love reading about glorious bastards who eventually get shot down. I started reading 2001: ASO today, and I'm already past half-way through with it. Another awesome book. I'm going to buy 2010 and 3001 when I can.
And today, because I wasn't out of the house all day (which was funny to me, because sometimes I won't get out of the house for weeks at a time at home), Aunt Angie made me go bike-riding with Gage. Gage decided to go on the private golf-course. End result? Someone calls the police on us, so we had to make a mad dash to get out. I had on a long-sleeve shirt and forgot deoderant, but somehow, I managed not emit any odors as I was lying on the bed in pain because I was out of shape.
Another funny thing. My Aunt asked me how I managed to stay skinny (er than her, I'm really not skinny, but I'm not overweight either... happy medium for the win), and I told her to never get any exercise, eat a bunch of chips and chocolate, and play video games and watch cartoons 24/7. I don't think she bought that. The only healthy foods I would eat voluntarily are kiwis. Maybe strawberries.
Things I still need to accomplish this summer: seeing Superman Returns and Nacho Libre. finish the FFXI mini-comic. reread the Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings. rewatch Band of Brothers straight-through. not exercise and get into shape.

I flipped a penny to decide whether to join Pinnacle or Kaiser on FFXI after I'm back from my vacation. Mr. Abe decided he didn't want to be caught, and rolled under my computer desk. Goddamnit.

Movies I need to see this summer. [x] X-Men 3 [x] The Da Vinci Code [ ] Nacho Libre [ ] Superman
I'll probably make my sister take me to see the last two when I go down to visit her. And like hell I'll watch a chick flick.
So last week. I went to the go-cart track with my dad. On our second run through, right when we started, I got something stuck in my eye. I went through the race half-blind, most of the time with both eyes closed. Fun stuff.
Turns out, whatever flew into my eye scratched it. The next morning, I had to get an eye patch from CVS and wear it for a few days. With my glasses, at a profile view I looked less like a pirate and more like the Invisible Man, only nearsighted. Yarr.
So that was... fun?
In the same week, I had to babysit my brother so his mom could get surgery that would stop her from reproducing (thank God). He was a perfect little brat of course. The second to last day, he shut my cat in a toy chest. I have no idea how long she was in there, but I can tell you, I was pretty pissed off when I found out. I swear his father was the devil himself, and we aren't related.

I redid this picture, using the overlay tool to make the lines darker and more defined. It's also colored a bit differently. I think this is how I'm going to start coloring, if I can find the freakin' disk to reinstall the scanner...

| Rant #1: Gender Confusion |
[30 May 2006|01:21pm] |
To enter a MMORPG as a female character is to enter a world where the majority thinks you're a guy, and a good amount thinks you're female, and the rest are actually smart or stupid enough to ask before making assumptions. I don't know what male players behind the female characters think, but I'm fairly frustrated. I can never win.
I play a Mithra in Final Fantasy XI, the usual catgirl that the Japanese seem to have a fetish for (that, and drawing underwear). I chose this race instead of the adorable Tarutaru because I'm a cat person. I just love them. I had no idea what was instore for me.
As said before, the majority thinks I'm a guy at first. Reactions are different when I correct them. Some (A LOT) go the "LAWL, u r a chick!? r u hawt?" route, some are indifferent, and some say that I act like a guy.
"LAWL, u r a chick!? r u hawt?" - Normally I blacklist people like this, but it's kind of hard to when dealing with it within your own linkshell. And no matter which linkshell I go to, there's always at least one guy like that. Hell, I'd make my own linkshell and just boot anyone like that if I wouldn't be so lazy with the recruiting. BUT GODDAMNIT PEOPLE, GO OUT, GET SOME FRESH AIR, AND GET A REAL GIRLFRIEND INSTEAD OF STARING AT MY TAILED PIXELED ASS. JESUS FUCKING CHRIST.
Indifference - I love you.
"You act like a guy." - So I'm not sprinting around Jeuno in my underwear, flirting with every guy I see like I'm a 30 year old living in my mother's basement. So I don't like pink pretty ponies, or say, "OMG KAWAII ^.^ WAI WAI WAI" at everything in my path. So I flipped out about the X-Men 3 commercial, love Spiderman, and asked for the Band of Brothers DVD box set for my 17th birthday. IF I WERE ACTING LIKE A GUY, I'D BE DROOLING OVER MY PIXEL ASS, RUNNING AROUND IN MY UNDERWEAR IN THE GAME, SAYING SHIT LIKE, "r u hawt?" I DO NOT ACT LIKE A GUY, I ACT LIKE A NORMAL HUMAN BEING.
The people that just randomly ask me my gender? DOES IT MATTER?! Just SHUT UP and KEEP SWINGING YOUR AXES LIKE A GOOD DAMAGE DEALING BITCH.

DIE BITCH.

I saw X-Men 3 this weekend, and the Da Vinci Code last weekend. And wow. Both movies were awesome, but I was kinda disappointed in X-Men because Nightcrawler wasn't in it. Still an good movie. I laughed, I cried, I wanted to smack my little brother for being so loud.
As of 11 A.M. last Thursday, I'm a senior. My cousin is so getting hazed, even if he is a sophomore this year.

"So what's happening so far in the book?"
"Bad grammar."
My exact answer to the English teacher. Reading Huck Finn is slowly annihilating my grammar. I thought it was supposed to be an AP class? I could just stop reading it. I didn't read enough of the Great Gatsby to fill a whole chapter, and I still got As on everything, even the ridiculous test. "What caused the death of the American dream for Gatsby?" HIS DEATH, DUH.
I just called Gamstop, and they have Aht Urhgan in stock. Huzzah! Tomb Raider: Legends will have to wait. I only have $35, and ToAU costs $30. Though I'll probably sacrifice my Three Musketeers DVD that I was going to get with an Amazon gift card for it... Still debating that.

My first high school fight While eating at the fourth hour It was a sad sight
Really, it was. They looked like they were hugging more than fighting. I think the only thing that defined the fight as a... fight was the fact that they knocked over a small table. The first high school fight that I've ever seen, and it was pathetic.
It's really quiet here today... Probably because my cat's at the vet getting Mr. Snip-Snip. Poor Remi.

The Visa commercial with the worm dancing on the checkbook amuses me... I wish I had a breakdancing worm, but my cat would probably eat it. Maybe I can teach her to breakdance...
A friend invited me to go to a Rocky Horror Picture Show play with her and her boyfriend. Unfortunately, I have to be 17 to go, and the showings end eight days before my birthday. I wanted to throw toast at people, too! Bah.

Spring break is over... blah. I finally turned in my first rough draft for my etymology report. I've heard him critique other people's reports, and he flat-out tells them that they suck. I'd care more if I actually put an effort in my report. It'll probably make his eyes bleed. Bleed words. Because I'm good like that. Or bad?
Kekeke.

"Buddha for Mary" - 30 Seconds to Mars |
] |
Well, this has to be my millionth livejournal account. I start them, then I suddenly stop... And now I have no idea what to type. I'm just sitting here, wrapped up in a blanket, eating hot fries and drinking red cream soda. And watching my crazy cut bounce around my room.
Next week is spring break, and last night it snowed... That's just sick and wrong on so many levels. Eesh. I'm not going anywhere this year. Again. I guess being able to stay inside where it's nice and warm isn't too bad, and I still have my computer. That's always a plus.
I'm cold. >_o
